簡介:
主要從事海氣相互作用與海洋動力學的基礎和應用研究,近年來發表論文論著70餘篇。研究成果被Nature、PNAS、Nature Climate Change、Nature Communications、Reviews of Modern Physics等國際高水平SCI期刊引用,相關研究被Nature News報道評述,并獲上海海洋科學技術獎、海洋工程科學技術獎、海洋科學技術獎等5項。
創新性成果主要包括:(1)提出了海盆-跨海盆尺度海氣相互作用調制熱帶氣旋強度低頻變異的新機制,定量評估了熱帶氣旋對西北太平洋和南海大尺度環流和熱輸運的影響;(2)首次提出了鹽度障礙層能夠支持熱帶氣旋強化的觀點,闡明了鹽度障礙層與極端天氣氣候事件的相互作用機理;(3)提出了新的海洋數據同化方法,與合作者合作建立了海洋三維溫鹽流實況分析、再分析和預報業務系統。研究成果為改善熱帶氣旋、氣候和海洋環流預測能力提供了新的思路,并已應用于多家業務保障部門,在國防安全和防災減災中發揮了重要作用。
